Title: Slot replacement
Post by: Riger on October 14, 2009, 01:57:46 AM
Just a quick question;

If I intend to use an existing slot for another route, but the slots are limited, how can I transition that slot without the risk of it being snapped up at the same time by another player?

Thanks in advance

Richard

When you close a route, you can unselect the option: "Release the slots in the public slot pool."

Runner. I note your response, however, how do Iallocate that slot to a diffeeent route odf mine?

Well, its a bit more complicated. The not-giving-up-slots-function is really only useful when all the slots are gone. It works like this: you close a route, do the thing I said earlier (uncheck the box), and then just open a new route. Normally, when all the slots are sold out, it would say there are no slots available, but because you still own some slots, you will be able to open a route.

Did I make it clear? Or just more confusing? ;)

Runner,

Thanks, that makes total sense.

I guess the slot is reserved for the normal unused duration with the associated warnings.

Best Regards
