Title: Flying two times a week increase LF?
Post by: te24 on October 05, 2009, 12:34:55 PM
I have a question:

My airline is based in Gdansk, Poland (EPGD). I developed huge network in Europe and Middle East, where demand for direct routes is enough for at least 737. Apart from the problem, that on the official Gdansk airport statistics (i have access to them) the demand for Middle East connections is quite small (f.e. Dubai ca. 30-40 pax a day - in game 150 a day) and America destinations have big demand (ca 150 a day, in game max 27), i want to fly to USA on 737-700. If there is a demand of 27 per day, and i fly 2 times a week, will the demand for one flight be higher that mentioned 27 pax?

Great game by the way, of course waiting with few friend for transfers and connecting flights  :) :) :)

So far the pax does not "bank" to another day.. That's one issue that I'd like to resolve too.

Just a question, has something changed in that matter since last replay?
Does it make any sense to have 2-3 flights per week on a route which wouldn't normally fill up my plane on daily basis?

Best regards,
MJZ

No, nothing's changed, unfortunately :(

Don't know how far Sami is with this, but he might include it in the new demand model that will be area-based... But that's at least months away.
