Title: Slot Costs
Post by: catspaw27 on October 03, 2009, 06:13:25 PM
It was a nice addition to the game, and I am better able to adjust flight times to cut costs a bit.  BUT...

I should be getting a discount at my own hub.  If another airline flies in from another continent, they should have to pay more than me.  It's my airport, my hub...I am pouring money into the local economy with my fees, taxes, marketing, etc.  I am bringing value to the area.

Thoughts?

Slot costs are pretty standard across the board depending on the size of the airport and time of day.

other airlines can make long routes from their destinations to my hub, but my regional flights should be cheaper (because of smaller planes used) and, also I should get a discount.... :)
