Title: Risk of leasing
Post by: slannoy on August 12, 2009, 11:34:54 AM
I own somes of the aicraft of my fleet and I'm wondering if it would not worth to lease them to another company but I'm not sure about the risk of this opperation.

I saw in the original ATB that somes company didn't maintain their leased aircrafts and that the aircrafts went back to their lessor in bad condition. Sami talk about a fix that brought back the aircrafts to their lessor once the condition fall below 80%.

How does it work in these new games ?

When there's no slots/routes for expantion, airlines can act as a broker to generate more income...
When you have space to expand, lease those airplanes out will be you last option...

no, not possible at all i think in this game.
You will get cheating because people try to get 2 accounts or 2 real life friends help eachother by giving money.
For example, one of the biggest airline in a world gives multiple millions to a real life friend who is owning a very small airline.
Or maybe people will pay eachother real life money for ingame money. They might offer money on ebay or something like that.

But they can if they have reason. Why we shouldn't be able to do it?

And by the way... sometimes happen that one airline pay another to not flying some route.. it's not often, but it happens.

And when it does happen, they get investigated for fraud and anti-competitive behaviour and recieve massive fines/restrictions.  :-\

Yes, it's sick, but in most countries yes. But in some countries you can do that.
