Am I right? In last games it was 100% eaven if u used automatic hiering system all as temporary fix?
Yes. It's a "premium" you pay for the "service" of not having to push the "Set all staff levels to 100%" button after getting new aircraft. This is such a stupid feature that I would stop playing the game if it wasn't so darn addictive.
It is annoying but I turned it off and just do it manually.
I used to think that the model used for the # of employees was way out of whack, but I checked on the three biggest airlines (they avg around 78-83 people per plane) and AWS is almost right on.
Imagine if Sami put unions in the simulation!

Drive your staff morale low enough, and you WILL have a strike.
I believe you, and they are sensitive too! Forgot to hire ( 5min time span) for one extra plane and it upset everyone.
I always have 106% - 108% which is sometimes annoying when i look at how many people are needed and how many I have got, I sometimes have 30 more people :o (Talk about bankruptcy). But the strangest thing is that it says in my delays that I have a lack of staff!! What??!! :laugh:

Just a thought on this topic - Sami, does it work the other way? I mean does having more people in marketing i.e. give you a boost in marketing, ramp guys smaller chance to have a delay etc.? I mean is it worth sometimes to hire more than needed amount of people or is it really just a waste and a penalty for that you don't need to take care about it?

look at your marketing effectiveness. It is sometimes over 100%
I think it's better to have a bit overstaffing than to have under 100%. Just look around in the forums, you'll see someone who lost a lot putting auto off.
