Title: Question about salaries
Post by: euskoair on August 03, 2009, 12:23:45 PM
I dont remember if it was similar in past games or if I´m more worried in the current one  ::) but I would like to know if the satff is hired when you order a plane or when you get it.

I´m playing Air Travel Boom 2 and I have oredered 4 new planes and asigned them new routes. The planes are going to be delivered in two weeks but I noticed that my staff salaries are double from now. Is it correct?

Yes, you have to get the people hired and trained in preparation for the aircraft's arrival.

More staff is hired when new routes are created (or was it when they are scheduled).

So what happens to those staff if you cancel the route before it's flown? Are they transfered to a new route you create at a later time or do you have to fire them?

If you scale down the operations you always have to fire the staff yourself. Includes routes that are not yet flown (but have been scheduled - ie. almost flown..).

if you open another route, the staff is naturally counted again and any extra staff pre-hired is included in that.

So basically the staff from route A which was cancelled would move to route B which has just been created?

yep.

The system cannot go into such detail that staff person number #3535 would be marked to handle baggages at certain airport or route..
