What is your favourite Airbus out of this list?
A350 because it doesn't excist yet..... The best airbus is a non-existing airbus.... though the pics Ive seen from it are good... Plus if I say they are rubbish I anger my friend Vladimir the Italian.
The A340 is an amazing plane, especially the -600 one.
I picked the "short bus." (A318) ;) The thing flies like a fighter jet.
A319. Very versatile and economical.
A Boeing

why do u people like the A340???!! its gonna kill the airlines with its fuel consumption (they're now
PHASING OUT the A340, at least during $147 oil) or is it cuz of aesthetics ;D

Yeah, the A340 has lost its place now the 777-300ER offers the same range with a much better fuel consumption.

you're right - it's because of aesthetics

but with a bit less pax, still it's useful in South Africa (that's why South African Airways flies tons of them). I read somewhere that it was better utilized in hot climates or was it about altitude.

the a340, though i kinda dislike it, was the aircraft used in very first ultra-long haul flight. The Cathay Pacific A340-600 (now retired) was the one that brought me to Hong Kong ;) from New York. I was amazed at the roar and the power during take-off. Very very powerful plane!!!
A340, definitely!! Especially the A340-500.
Back then I flew from JFK - SIN with SIA on a 747-400. It was so cramped and at that moment I hated 747 :p Couple of months later, I needed to get back home again and one of my friends suggested to take the flight from EWR. Fortunately, SIA operated (don't know if they still have it today) A340-500 for EWR-SIN. Of course the ticket cost about $ 200 more and I had to spent more on the taxi fare compared to the one to JFK. But, I got more legroom and wider seat during the flight, access to minibar (something that does not exist on the 747), and it was a non-stop flight to Singapore (compared to the 747 where we had to transit at Frankfurt).
I tried that SIN-EWR. It's the longest commercial flight in operation! The only bad thing is that they give you only 2 meals but, since you can't live on crisps from the bar, there should have been another one.
I just checked that flight on SIA website. They have changed that flight into an all Business Class flight :( Surely I can't afford to fly on my lovely A340-500 anymore :(

it's been like that for years. Fly via Hong Kong on (SIN-HKG-JFK) CX's 777-300ER....awesome plane.

I took that as well. Love it too. CX doing a great job with the seat.
I've only been in A318's and A319's with Frontier Airlines(KDEN) but I liked the 18 better because it had nicer seats and a little more leg room for me(6'2" tall).
Other than that anyone that stays in the air :-\
Airbus is having some issues this year for various reasons ???
