Title: [ok] Convair conversion models

Hi,

I just started flying Convairs in the new GW2 and was doing some research about my new fleet  ;D

Are any of these conversions/variants included in the game? If not, could we still get the 340 --> 440 conversion?

None is available yet.
Request have been made already about the various prop versions (vs piston)

Not sure the 340 -> 440 was a conversion.

So, for what's currently available in the game early on, the Martin is still a tad better (just a tad). Then the Beast. The Viscount (ok, I say that because I'm still flying 350+ frames in 1991 ;D). And the F.27, obviously. But less range and no C seat capability.

F27s also have one less pilot, which is a factor or not, depending of the wealth of where you fly. NAMC is the third of the kickass props of the era. You can't get wrong with one of those.

Yup, however those Fokkers aren't available yet  ;)
According to wiki the 340-->440 is a conversion

Another advantage is that F27/F50 is now one type

And, last but not least, please review the noise certification for the Convair 240 family. It's currently chapter 1. Martin 4-0-4 has the exact same engines and is certified as chapter 2... why? Are the engine covers of the Martins soundproof?  :-\

Ask the same thing with the 747...747-100 with turbofan engines is Chapter 1 whilst even 707s with noisy turbojets are Chapter 2???

IIRC the noise being 1 on many older types is Sami simply lacking data for what qualification an aircraft would come under noise level wise, but I'm not sure.
