Title: Panama Air announces its impending liquidation
Post by: ZmeyGorynych on May 12, 2022, 01:08:32 PM
It is with deep regret that Panama Air announces its impending liquidation.
This is due to the refusal to work with credit cards issued by Russian banks, which resulted in the inability to finance further work.
The airline notes that high results have been achieved in recent years. A unified fleet of 23 Sukhoi Superjet aircraft has generated consistent profits ($350,000 to $520,000 per aircraft per week) despite significant fluctuations in fuel costs.
The load factor consistently exceeded 90% on all routes.
The resulting profit allowed the company to fully pay for and acquire ownership of 23 new aircraft without attracting additional borrowed funds (except for the start-up loan).
At the time of liquidation, the company's cash assets exceeded $120 million.

The airline thanks its customers and employees.
And its CEO wishes all the other participants an interesting game!

At first I thought he was referring to gameplay, as ironic reason for bankruptcy; but now I understand he refers to real-life inability to purchase credits with russian credit cards? If so, I'm willing to help, too, either to move credits from my current balance, or to pay new funds directly to his account if possible.
