For some reason the processing of PayPal's payments is extremely slow at the moment. In other words if you make a purchase and pay for it via PayPal the Credits do not appear instantly on your account (although normally they do).
I have not yet traced down the reason for the issue but it seems to be somewhere in the communication between us and PayPal since all the transactions are visible in our PayPal account.
In the meantime please use the direct credit card payment method if possible; or if using PayPal please be prepared for a delay before receiving the Credits to the account. If you do not receive the paid Credits within max. 1-2 hours of purchase please contact us to create a support ticket of the issue and we'll manually verify the payment. https://www.airwaysim.com/Contact/Profile
UPDATE: PayPal's system is the reason for the slowliness. They do supply the automated information on successful payment but it seems to take up to 10-20 minutes. So please be patient for this today; but of course if it still does not work send a message and it'll be sorted out at our end.

At least it was only 10-20 mins. I had a website I sold a while back that sold digital download-able software. Payment would be made via PayPal, PayPal's API server would send confirmation of payment, and software would be available for download within a minute or two. I remember quite a few times when the PayPal API server was delayed by hours in sending confirmation, one time it even took over 24 hours for the API server to send confirmation. Lots of time spent answering support emails on those days. :-\
They also changed their policy so that if you don't have a credit card, so your bank account is linked to your PayPal account, it takes up to 6 days before the payment is processed.. :-\

Did you have enough money in your account to cover the purchase? It is nothing new to have to wait for a transfer of payment from a bank account. They call it an e-Check (like you are sending a normal check, just electronically) and it can take some time to clear, depending on your bank's location and your bank's policies. To avoid having to wait, when you need to purchase something, you need to have a little foresight and Add Funds to your PayPal account long enough before you need to purchase to have the funds available when you will need them. A payment from a PayPal account without a credit card as the funding source always has a delay on the payment while money is transferring if there isn't enough money in your PayPal account at the time of purchase.
