Game: History and the Future
Airline: Dragonfly

CDG recently opened in History and the Future. I had routes from most of my bases to ORY. They all had a Route Image of 100 before the move, and all got reset to 0 in the move to De Gaulle.

I had a route from my HQ in Athens to both ORY and LBG, and that is the only route that retained its 100 RI when transferred to CDG.

It is with great reluctance that the CEO of Basset Air has announced the closure of his airline. Dom Paulio head of the family...sorry board of directors, speaking from his lavish home in Sicily said that his "other business interests" seem to have come into conflict with the Italian police and Dom Paulio feels that "because of the stress"  he will take an extended vacation to stay with close family in Chicago USA. He added that it was "a great shame" as the airline is doing so well especially as its base was in such a small town (Palermo, Sicily). Dom Pauli will be taking the airline's "portable assets" (listed as $635,000,000) with him so that he can continue to live "in a style, he is accustomed to".


truth is, about to start travelling abroad and cant give the game the time it deserves, thanks, everyone, Paul.....
p.s. I will leave the alliance before I go so as not to affect the alliance score.  Ill be back (again)

Minor bugfixes

Still some more minor fixes after the v.1.4 upgrade.

Updates

• AI aircraft brokers can now order planes of different MTOW/Engine variants from the new aircraft manufactures.

Fixes

• The runway requirement calculation has been reverted back to v.1.3 for current running games. The minor alterations to make it more accurate for the landing runway calculations caused a bit too big changes for some of the player's routes which were on the edge of the aircraft performance. All new games will use the new calculation.
  
  
• Route editor now saves all the arrival times of each techstopped route leg correctly ( = all scheduling issues should be now fine).
  
  
• "Routes with no aircraft" filter fixed at manage routes page.
  
  
• Schedule search highlights the resulting routes again.
  
  
• Techstop airports did not always switch to the new airport upon airport closure/relocation.
  
  
• Route planning and airport timetables did not show the correct flight number for return legs (showed the outbound number, i.e. current-1, instead).
  
  
• Added some missing info/warning texts to route information page.
  
  
• Easy Start wizard did not always show a proper warning if no suitable aircraft was found for the chosen type of airline.
  
  
• "View only my routes" at route planning pages produced some internal errors, fixed.
  
  
• When a game did not have cargo features enabled, the cargo numbers were still displayed at expanded route information listing.
  
  
• Buying an exactly 25.0 year old aircraft from used market produced an error due to depreciation calculation (which ends at 25.0yrs age).

Tested, and I can't replicate this at all. Gives the same sum before and after saving (same length and specs as in the pic).

Tried with your actual airline too and no results, all good.

KLAS-KCLT is 1661 NM still air, and return flight all things considered is calculated as 1983 NM. Route editor says limit is 34 pax on return leg.

Checking the Tu-104 payload-range chart, we're just at the corner-point at 1900-2000 NM. But we see that after 1900 nm the capability drops very sharply, and 1980 nm gives ~3200 kg payload only, equalling about 30-35 pax.

All seems correct to me looking at the range chart at https://www.airwaysim.com/game/Aircraft/Payload/493/623/869/m22072/

For this ac type the standard 50pax config is near the range limit already and any further than that you can see it drops quickly.


In percentage the still-air distance vs wind-factored distance is rather big though, but it's a rather long route after all with ~5hr flt time.

I conclude a contract at one price, but it changes on Monday

Yes, it changes slightly all the time, company size and some other things affect to it.

But now the price in "preview" is half of what it is then actually. But I haven't verified what it actually makes on balance sheets.
