Ah, never seen one here in the Netherlands. :)

They will only attract girls if they find out you're actually a pilot and earn $150,000 a year. ;D

I have a few Skymarks, but I like GeminiJets 1/200 and 1/400 too (particulary 1/200, but they're a lot pricier than Skymarks, which are plastic models.) I have about 40 models.

My biggest love in my collection is this 1/200 all-metal Air Koryo Tu-154B-2 with moving ailerons and flaps. ;D

I also have a Frontier Airlines CV-580 t-shirt, British Airways Concorde t-shirt and an Aeroflot Tupolev Tu-114 t-shirt. ;D

Bah, the battery of the camera is dead... I'll make some pics with my iPhone then.

edit: Here they are...

Really, I advise you should get a GeminiJets 1/200 at least once. You'll love them (this T154 is not a GeminiJets btw)
When I got my first, I wanted to sleep with it. ;D

This is a Phoenix models Tu-154, but I find the GeminiJets models to be even more realistic. Yes, 1/200 is the biggest. Here is my OpenSkies 757-200 accompanied by my BA BAe 146 (both GeminiJets)

I've got plenty of aircraft models which I've collected over the last 3-4 years.

Skymarks:

Ryanair 737-800 (1:130) because its what I flew on FS9 most of the time
KLM 737-800 (1:130) because I loved the 737-800 with winglets, and the KLM colour scheme
Easyjet A319 (1:150) because I was living in Luton at the time
Emirates A380 (1:200) because I flew on one
FlyBE Q400 (1:100) because I'm now in Southampton, a base of theirs

Next in line is a FlyBE E-195 to complete the fleet

Herpa Wings:

Cathay Pacific 747-400ERF (1:200) because I had just been to Hong Kong

Good choice sir. All my metal 1:400s are GJs and I love them! Do note that they're pretty small. (average ± 12cm depending on the aircraft)

They may be little but I've got large (Revell 1:144 A320 (BMI), A380 (Lufthansa) and A300-600ST (WIP) so I don't mind.

It also cost me £9.50 (€10.82, $15.53) so against list prices I'm happy with it as a cash strapped student!

And on that note what are the names to look for? I assume GeminiJets is one, what about others?

SkyMarks do the cheapest models, they are plastic and usually around 1:200 scale.

Seeing as you're in the UK, check out Aviation Retail Direct (http://www.aviationretaildirect.co.uk/skelapp/w3store/store.asp)

I love the model of the F-4 in Blue Angels livery... Beautiful! Until a few years ago I used to assemble plastic models from Tamyha: my fav one was the F-14D in 1:48 scale... I had to buy an airbrush because I couldn't risk to make a crappy painting job with a brush! In the end i put it on a small diorama resembling the deck of a CV... Sold it for 200€ to a FBO at BGY! ;)
