Monsoon Airways Ceo has announced today that the airline will cease its passanger operations as soon as the last flight touches back down in Bristol this evening due to low load factors and fierce competition in the sector.

When questioned on the topic the Ceo had this to say, "Its very unfortunate that we have to cease our passanger operations as our passangers love our airline and named us their number 1 holiday provider. Unfortunately we got into passenger operations after having a successful freight business since our airline founded in the 90s and thought it would enhance the service we provided, however it has dragged the airline through the dirt in terms of finances. ALL passangers have been notified and offers have been given out to transfer our passengers to our competitor in Bristol."

We then asked the Ceo what would be happening with current aircraft and its on order aircraft? "We will be converting our current aircraft to cargo specification and which will be the TU-204-100C,  our aircraft on order for passenger ops have also been cancelled, as we now strive to build our finances back up and aggressively expand our cargo business again which has been left in the dark recently."

Game talk - Beginner's Worlds / Managing orders

Morning

Why don't we have an option  to swap between our models in the orders that we do? The example of that would be me wanting to swap the slots for the 76F with 762. I have an urgent need for 762 but I can only get them in 2020, if I could swap all my 76f slots  with 762, that would make things easier.

So apparently there are some weird weather-related events going on in the world, but we still believe capitalism is the answer. Having said that, we would like to further expand our route network. If any airline is interested in selling their old ERJ-145´s (or 140´s, 135´s) do not hesitate to contact us.

Announcements - History and the Future / Weather Station Causes Volcanoes

--- Geostationary Orbit over Central USA, Outer Space (Associated Press)

An attempt to gently ionize a low pressure front moving across the North American continent went awry earlier today.  The laser on board the Swiftus Atmospheric Monitoring Installation (Sami) catastrophically misfired causing untold devastation by literally breaching the crust of the American tectonic plate and creating a new volcano.

People are blaming Sami and the eccentric airline owner, Swiftus of Swiftus Express for the mess.  Protests erupted around the world calling for the end of Sami and that those responsible for Sami's existence should be put on trial.    One demonstrator mentioned "Sami is simply out of control.  We have been dealing with freakish weather events for years and now the station brings Biblical level madness to us."

Swiftus has not been seen in the public eye since returning from the Sami some weeks ago.  It is assumed that he has returned to his bunker where he plays the only known copy of Football Manager

Last time there was a hard game, if I recall correctly, a proper fuel spike cleared the entire playing field out and pretty much everyone quit.

That would be amazing! 😄

After the loss of millions due to the most recent pair of storms that brought literal hell to the United States something needed to be done.  No one expected Cthulu to emerge off the coast of Oregon deciding to fight a Kaiju that similarly rose from the Atantic across the continent off Massachusetts.   It was their final fight outside Soldier Field in Chicago where the events we all remember as the "Glow" happened.  Whether it was us or them, a thermonuclear explosion eliminated the threat but also erased the Midwestern metropolis.

Swiftus, of Swiftus Express, has decided to pledge $40 billion towards a national or global system that will hopefully put an end to the major storms that seem to ONLY wreak havoc on the North American nation.   He feels those airlines that continue to fly Douglas DC-8s and older Boeing 737-200 models are personally to blame for the crisis.

Oh god

Announcements - The Jet Age / New way of flying - Experience is everything

MADRID – The new management of the company has decided to operate our Turbo-props from one location only.   All others locations will move to F28 planes for the Spanish connections.  Due to increase passenger numbers and reduced slots on some major airports.
The management is fully aware that we will no longer be able to satisfy the real experience in our flights anymore.  But therefore it was decided to keep at least our turboprops for some years active at one of our locations in Spain.
For the long haul fleet it is also decided that in due years time the fleet of Vickers VC10 and Vickers Super VC10 will be replaced by brand new McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30.    As this replace will take some time we hope satisfy our loyal customers.

I never saw a game in "Hard" setting, only "easy" or "normal". Could be the opportunity to create a new difficulty level.
