How much "cash" do you really have to keep for your airline? ???

i like your subject name. a song in my head immly:

Money, get away
Get a good job with more pay
And your O.K.

Money, it's a gas
Grab that cash with both hands
And make a stash

New car, caviar, four star daydream
Think I'll buy me a football team

Eh... I enjoy trolling too. It's fun.

~ Hmm I would would say keep enough cash in reserve to prevent you from going into the red at any given time. Being negative cash for most of the week really caps what you can do if something unplanned goes wrong.

However, once you create a solid airline, you never really have to think about a cash shortage.

Oh and I guess if your expanding, keep enough cash to lease an aircraft and route it. Once slots get expensive enough, it costs more to route then to lease an aircraft. Don't put yourself in a position where you expend all your cash leasing an aircraft, only to have it sit on the tarmac without routes because slots are too expensive.

This pertains more in the beginning of a gameworld though.
