I was just wondering what the first aircraft you've ever flown on was. Mine was a 727-200 I believe.
Mine: Alitalia 747, FCO-JFK.
747 Too. CDG-YUL. For being destroyed with my ice hockey team by local teams.
Auckland to Los Angeles on a Qantas Boeing 747-400 :)
May have been a 722Adv or a DC9-30. Either way, when I was 21 days old.
My first flight was onboard a U.S. Air Force C-21 (that's a Lear 35 if I remember right) at about 10 years old. I took part in a summer camp program that was put on by several states' Air National Guard components and the FBI (strange mix) at the FBI academy in Quantico... part of the deal was a round trip from BTV to DCA and back courtesy of Uncle Sam.
It was a Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul from London, possibly a 737 I've been told, when I was about 6 weeks old.
My first flight was from Manchester to Corfu on a Britannia Airways 767-200. I was 7 years old at the time, so didn't find the 8-abreast all economy cabin uncomfortable.
First regional - Olympic Air ATR 42/300 From Athens to Kos
First medium-haul - Aegean Airlines A320 From Athens to Amsterdam
Languedoc Barcelona,Casablanca, Tenerife 1955
Mine was a 737-800 when it was still brand new and rare... Happy childhood days :)
Continental 727-200 DFW-EWR in 1988. My dad took a picture of it. If I recall, it had a People Express scheme with Continental titles. They merged a year prior.
Monarch Airlines 757-200 MAN-MAH in 2000, i was 10 years old.
Airtours B757 from Manchester to Tenerife.
First ever: LTU International Airways Berlin-Tegel to Palma de Mallorca in 1994 either on a 767 or A330. Can't remember as I was too young.
First long-haul: American Airlines London-Heathrow to Dallas Fort Worth on a 777-300ER in 2013
I have no idea for myself, however, I did manage to get both of my kids on a DC-9-51 for their first flight. Thanks Delta, for keeping those going until a few years ago!
I think Air Holland 757 AMS-LPA late 90's

UA, either a B720 or a B732. I was too young to know the difference.
I think IL-86 VKO-AER, ~ 1991.
Either a 777-200 American airlines (SFO-PVG) or a Delta mad dog (SFO-ORD) I remember that I hated the md-80/90/dc-9/something along that line.
Eastern Airlines B727-200. July 17, 1968 LGA- HOU.
Finnair DC-9 late -80's, HEL-RVN.
Charter flight Novair A330-200 ARN-OSL-CUN in 2005. Cabin video showed "Shrek 2" in Norwegian. Donkey saying "Er vi framme snart?" (are we there yet )x100 times and it spoke so well about how I felt about finally landing for my first time. Cancun +30C, Norrköping -16C when journey started.
DL 722 CLE-CVG in 1985. That trip included 3 722 and an L1011 (not sure which variant).
Most likely an MD-80 I was a few weeks/months old. DFW-RIC on AA. In 94

Best airline every pitty that it does not operate anymore. It was THE first company i have worked for in Aviation . And THE B757 is THE best aircraft being build by Boeing. It fly's like a sports car.
a Garuda Indonesia Boeing 737-400 in 1999.
757 to Mallorca i think with a now dead airline
In 1983: Indian Airlines HS748 "AVRO", IMF-IXA-CCU. Connected to A300 CCU-DEL. I was 6! :) Pattern repeated once every year during summer vacations.

First-ever: HKG-FUK on Dragonair A320
First Long-haul: HKG-ORD United 747-400, 15hrs flight
BEA (BA?) Trident, Edinburgh to Heathrow, 1976, if you don't count circuits & bumps in a Vickers Varsity as an Air Cadet.
I think mine was a 737-800 from Charleroi to Treviso
I honestly have no idea, but I am assuming it was an SAS DC-9 of some variety from Oslo most likely to Copenhagen.
American Airlines 727 from Des Moines to a New York airport (probably LaGuardia) sometime about 1975.
Boeing 727 of now defunct, but back then the largest Turkish charter company Istanbul Airlines from Amsterdam Schiphol to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.
Mine was a Virgin Atlantic 747 from Heathrow to Boston in 2001
Lockheed C-130 Hercules (RAAF - Royal Australian Airforce)
A320-232 BUD-MMX when I was 7 years old. Since then like airplanes very much
Either a 747 or a 777 in 2010, HKG - JFK.

Mine was an ATI (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aero_Trasporti_Italiani) DC-9 from Rome to Sicily (don't remember if to Palermo or Catania, I was 10).
I remember the captain come to us (me and my brother) and bring to the cabin while flying, to see the cockpit :)
Mine was in a 727-100 of Transbrasil Airlines, CGH - VIX in 1988. :)
i was like a month or two old, and it was most likely an austrian airlines DC-9 to greece
Delta CV 880; from ORD to TPA, summer of 1963.
Rich International L-1011. I fell in love.
Can't say. Probably on Air France or Alitalia (was mostly flag carriers by then, and the flight was from France to Italy). In 1985, was 6 months old.
So either 727, 732, A300 or A310 (AF) or DC-9, MD-82 or A300 (AZ).
My firstake off was a Rapide at Halfpenny Green airport in midlands UK in1969 or 1970. that was my first takeoff but no landing as I was there for a parachute jump ???. The Rapide was involved in an accident around that time when together with another rapide, the paras were going for a big (by standards of that time) formation but as the time to jump was given, one rapide fell below the other and 2 or 3 exiting the higher struck the lower rapide. one ended up in the lower rapide, another fell astride the lower rapides tail and then slid off. There were broken bones as best I recall. both aircraft landed ok. It was about 50 years ago so forgive if some of the details have become a bit hazy. I later flew a T21 glider from the early 50s with a large concrete block by my feet for ballast. and K6 and K8 gliders (Shobdon) before progressing onto modern fibreglass gliders
1998, 16yo. SAS GOT-CPH on a MD-82
I was extremly affraid, and it didnt get any better when an engine troubled before take-off :)

My first flight was from Manchester to Corfu on a Britannia Airways 767-200. I was 7 years old at the time, so didn't find the 8-abreast all economy cabin uncomfortable.
My first was MAN-CFU on a Britannia 732-200 and my SECOND was CFU-MAN on the 8-abreast 767-200. This was in November 1987. When were your flights? Being 17 I was already big enough to be unimpressed by how cramped the 767 was and it didn't help that it was a 1am departure, delayed to about 3am after being kicked out of our hotel at 10am the previous day.
What is it with all these people who don't know the exact details of their fist flight? Being a baby is no excuse ;) When my daughter was grown up and started travelling alone, I presented her with a list of all the flights she'd been on (first was a Leisure Air UK 737-400 MAN-ZTH in September 1995 when she was three months old) but she seemed quite unimpressed! :(
747, NY to somewhere in Germany in 1974 (I was a 9-years old dependent Army brat).
*Nostalgia*
I was be 6 years old, and flew on the Old Soviet Classic -- Tupolev Tu-154 UTair (TymenAviaTrans in 2001), from Surgut (my hometown, deep in Siberia) to Moscow (my new home). After that I flown on the 737's, 767's, A320 and another modern jets, but i never forget THIS sound old-fashioned D-30KU jet engines.
First one to remember:
Air Holland 757 AMS-LPA
I remember getting to the cockpit over Paris (thats what the pilot told me and my father)

TUI 737 Dublin-Palma de Mallorca
737-200 or ng or a320
yeg to ? ? ?
L1011
A330-300 with Dragonair aka Cathay Dragon. I forgot how old I was, but not very old... like 10< years old. :P
I think it was a 747, with stop-over at Nairobi and Djibouti from Reunion island (RUN) to Paris-Orly (ORY) I suppose, in the early 80s (I was probably 2-3yo, had a picture at home on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower during winter ;D )
I *think* an Aer Lingus 737 classic from Heathrow to Dublin in the mid 90s.
Finnair DC10-30 from Helsinki to Beijing, but I was just a toddler so too young to remember it. First flights I remember were on Finnair's MD11s.
A319-100 from EDDL to ESSA and a 737-700 back from ESSA to EDDL, eventhough it was nothing special to most I really loved looking at the planes arrive at the airports and it got even more exciting when I was about to board them ;D

I've only just come back to this thread ;D
My Britannia B762 flight was also in 1987! But during the school summer holidays. I sat next to my younger brother in one of the pairs of window seats (of the tight 2-4-2 layout) with our parents sat behind us.
My first flight was on a Lufthansa 747-400 (probably) from IAD-FRA in 2002. I was 18 months old, so I don't remember anything.
My last flight as of May 12, 2021 was a 3-legged odyssey from YYC-IAD via YYZ and DTW. We started on a WestJet 737-700 YYC-YYZ, then transitioned to a Delta Connections CRJ-700 for the YYZ-DTW leg and finally got delayed for 3-4 hours to hop on another CRJ to IAD. This was in very early March, 2020, just 2-3 weeks before Ralph Northam declared a State of Emergency for Virginia.
B.O.A.C. early 1970's Boeing 747-136 was my first airline flight from Jo'burg to London then back (my first visit to see my UK family).
What I can recall : B737 classic. What my dad told me (since I was still an infant ;D) : DC9.
Air Canada viscount in 1969
As far as I remember an Air Ukraine IL-62M from Kiev to JFK with a stopover in Shannon, in 1994.
There was a flight between Kiev and Moscow earlier but I don't remember the airplane type.
I remember as a child that I flew a lot to FLL from CLE in an era when the plane would land in ATL and continue on to FLL (before wheel-spoke). As a kid that meant I got two takeoffs and landings!!!!! I don't have pictures but since it was the early 80s and a domestic airline AND me recalling the side-seat in the cockpit, I am sure I flew on the 727 as one of my first birds.
My favorite plane to fly on ever... 767-400. Flight from PHNL to KDEN. Quietest bird. Smoothest flight.
Major Planes I know that I have flown on:
717
727
737 (classics through 900)
747
757
767
777
320
DC9/MD80
Dash 7
Dash 8
I have PIC time in:
DA 20
Cessna Skycatcher
Cessna 172
First time when I was 5 years old, think it was a Yak-40
Later, I flew a few times on Tu-134
