Fuel Supplier Contract

I started a few fuel supplier contracts about 2 game weeks ago, at base and outstations. I've not seen any change in fuel costs over those 2 weeks.
When should savings start to be seen and will it just show as cheaper fuel costs on the income page?

The supplier contract does not show in thr global fuel price chart since that is airport specific and affects only the chosen airport fuel sales.

(if that's what you meant?)

I would expect the discount to kick in immediately, or at least the next game day after it was taken out. On the "income" page I would filter to the specific airport you took the contract out at (top right drop down) and I'd expect to see changes to the fuel line, and the "fuel contract and hedge fees" lines.

But wouldn't i expect to see a reduction in overall fuel bill on the main income page?
Its stayed about the same for weeks, despite me now paying the contract charges. So on the face of it I'm actually paying more now.

The savings are nowhere near as much as you might expect. Even if you have an 8% saving at one base, that only equates to 4% in reality as only fuel for the outbound flights is reduced in cose. Then consider your other bases (if any). With a big airline even a full 10% hedging contract might only give you a 2% saving overall. You'd have to watch the figures very carefully to catch this, especially with other regular fluctuations - flights skipped due to maintenance probably being the biggest one.
