Sami (or others), this is a bit of a giggle. The US has not had a meaningful rail worker strike since 1947 with a follow on in 1956. By 1975 passenger service was virtually nonexistant. It has made a comeback in the past decade. Love me a railroad strike affecting transAtlantic flights. Those rail bridges via Iceland from Boston to London are soooooo hard to maintain. Cheers all.
