One problem I have always had with Speed World is whether or not to hedge fuel and if so, when and how much? Right now it is at $111 and IIRC it makes a really nasty swing up into the $300+ range. I had over $1B banked at one point and had to sit there helplessly as fuel costs ate through it and tossed me out of the game.
I would appreciate any thoughts, hints or insights on this would be appreciated. Also, the selection of a preferred fuel supplier total confuses me. Should I go with the guy that has the lowest cost, the longest contract or somewhere in the middle?
