CityLink today announced a strategic partnership with FedEx and PrimeAir as a part of their continued expansion at Narita International.
This move will see CityLink operating 130 Boeing 767-300 Freighters on behalf of PrimeAir, and a further 90 MD-11 and DC-10 freighters for FedEx. This also marks a huge expansion for both PrimeAir and FedEx, with their expected marketshare in air cargo to widen considerably in the Unites States over the next few years. The freighters will be using FedEx and PrimeAir's livery with "Operated by CityLink Express" written under the logo.
CityLink is expecting air cargo in Japan to explode over the coming decade and is also looking to hire an additional 15.000 people over the next decade, putting some pressure on the aviation market that are starting to feel staffing issues.
