Base airport restrictions in Europe

Hello.

As bigger European airlines started to open their bases in Switzerland I wanted to consider opening new base outside their area of interests, however it is impossible for me: list of available airports (9) is limited to Switzerland and Gibraltar, despite the banner saying I can open a base everywhere in EU.

Sami, that looks like a bug, is it possible to fix it?

Yes, seems like a bug. Switzerland joins in June 2002. Gibraltar is interesting though 
Better file it under bug report, it might go unnoticed in this forum.

Switzerland is a little bit bizarre. In current HaTF game, I tried to HQ in Basel, in 1955, where Swiss companies can open base, but I couldn't open bases in Switzerland (I had, however, a lot of fun in France). I'm not sure whether it's working as designed, ot whether it's a glitch. Yours seems worse, obviously.

Hey! Indeed, long time, had a break from the game for around five years. Sorry for the long reply.

Fetish is not always bad I have now a few barely profitable ULH routes, as I often wanted to have.

Looks like Sami kind of fixed it, as now I have 82 airport available instead of just 9, mostly Norway and Balkans, which is already much better.

This has been corrected; since the Swiss are a member of the ECAA since 2002 there is a possibility to expand into EU member states.

For future reference, pls post a bug report, since I usually miss these other talks.
