We are saying goodbye to the last of our once 21 aircraft strong Boeing 737-100 in a months time.
The final flight will be performed by the same aircraft that launched Northland Aviation in 1988, LN-NAA, named Aker.

As the 737-100 has left the fleet, a fleet of Boeing 737-200 Advanced have been introduced that will be the backbone of the fleet for the coming years until the airline management has decided upon their replacement. This means that there are fuel savings around 600 kilograms per hour compared to the -100. If the additional seat-count is taken into consideration, the operational efficiency is significantly higher.

Next time you are flying to or within Norway, take Northland into account.
