Uncle Picadee's Annual Aircraft Almanac - 2020
« on: March 30, 2021, 08:39:37 AM »
The past year has seen a vicious battle as the A321Neo battled the Boeing Max 9, with the Airbus stalwart taking charge in the last quarter. The IL-96T was certified and gathered some giant orders from Scandinavian Sky-lines and Monarch Cargo. The CRJ series was saved at the last minute by Martywings and Second Class Airways with an order for over 30 CRJs. After a great first year, the E195-E2 is taken down a notch by a resurgent ATR in new orders. Airbus barely eeks out a win on new orders as well, helped by 14 Launch orders for the newly certified and ambitious Airbus A321neoXLR. And finally, the lengthy manufacturing spree of the A330F has made it in the most common Very Large Aircraft in operation at long last.

Happy Trails - Uncle P
