Nearly a year in now, and this second edition of the Almanac shows that airline executives have started opening up their pocketbooks for shiny new metal. The last 6 months have seen a a tripling or more in aircraft in use. The Airbus A321-200 continues its dominance overall and in a couple surprise twists a freighter has the most new orders for a Very Large Aircraft and a Sukhoi is head of the pack in new medium aircraft orders.
