Starway has now retired its trusty MD83 fleet from regular service, we were proud to be the worlds last operator of this type. However, two airframes are currently in D check and will continue to occasionally be used to cover maintenance of its Airbus fleet. So down, but not quite out. The Mad Dogs buzz saw noise will still occasionally be heard for the next 7 years!
