I joined a game world after it was more than half completed. there was still a lot of airlines actively running routes and all the large cities were completely saturated. I therefore picked a starting point in a smaller airport for less competition (KBNA), and the strategy worked. I was able to set up bases in 3 other smaller cities until an opportunity struck to set up a base in Denver. By this point, I had grown larger than any of my other attempts, I had just ordered a bunch of new aircraft to start performing international routes when i suddenly got the message, Maximum number of aircraft routed outside of home base...
Now I am not opposed to this rule fundamentally, as it helps to keep some of the big dogs from mopping everything up, but would there ever be a consideration for moving the home base or is that an option involved with rebranding the airline?
