[-] Odd slot quota
« on: November 18, 2019, 10:13:04 PM »
In MT gameworld, there is currently an extremely low slot quota of only 35 slots per 5 game days, making it almost impossible to do any decent scheduling, since this is not enough for a LH 7-day, let alone a MH 7-day.  Are quotas this low intended?

Furthermore, this quota is already active, even though the expansion is only due next month.

Did anyone else at that airport go bankrupt recently?

Besides airport expansions, slot quotas can also happen if an airline at that airport goes bankrupt and their slots become available.

nope, no bk. There is no reason for a slot quota and even if there was one, 35 is so ridiculously low it seems unintended.

Bankruptcy outside the base where they have a lot of slots can trigger it

35 per 5 days is the standard quota whenever a quota is triggered. And Schro's probably hit the nail on the head. Someone based elsewhere had a lot of flights to your airport.

It will clear pretty quickly. It's frustrating but it does keep one player from vacuuming up all the slots that become available all at once.

Not even one bankruptcy - it could be a handful of bankruptcies where they have one set of slots each. It can be someone reorganizing their routes and dropping slots. Quite frankly, it's maddening because you can't figure out what happened in this particular instance. I created many bug tickets on this matter when the quota system was put into place....

The 35 quota is a result from bankruptcies (one or multiple), and happens if the airport is slot limited and a lot of new slots are released when an airline closes. So not a bug.
