[ok] Planes returned from lease with low condition
« on: November 08, 2019, 11:15:16 AM »
Hello Sami,

i just received two planes back from lease (GW2). They came back with 10% condition! They had the "Operational Condition requirement" of 70%.
This must be a bug, how otherwise could one get the planes down to this level? Otherwise people would just lease planes and always give them back in such a condition!

I dont know what the lessor did or if the system did something, but please correct this.

Planes in question:

The return is not immediate, and if the condition is below the requirement there is always some time to react.

But 10% seems low.... Probably missing a wing and another engine at least. :P

was able to recreate the bug: GW2: https://www.airwaysim.com/game/Aircraft/My/View/63713/

if you do a seat conversion and remove them from storage, the planes condition goes to 10%. i assume this is a bug, please correct it!

Step 1: Plane is returned from lease and placed in storage.
Step 2: Seat config of plane is changed while in storage.
Step 3: While in the process of reconfiguration, the plane is taken out of storage.

The "Extra Maintenance"-time is correctly changed to 3+5 days, but some of the engineers use salt water to clean the aluminum-airframe; after they are finished taking the plane out of storage... 10% condition ;)

Just recreated today in GW2: https://www.airwaysim.com/game/Aircraft/My/View/63618/

Please dont forget to adapt my two 757s that are in non-flying condition. And also I think that payback of two months worth of insurance premiums (~20M) is adequate to compensate for the grounding of the planes due to this bug (accounting for leasing costs, maintenance and other associated issues).

p.s.: it is a also a bit weird, that if you put a plane into a Ccheck, it can get out of that check in a non-flying-condition ;)

But it has been returned to sender, saying the person no longer lives at this address. Thus we sent only 3 bags of sand to DanDan in the Desert. And a tin cup of dirty water :P
Check in the bearings of your landing gears ;)
