[-] Stockholm Bromma premature demand drop
« on: September 29, 2019, 11:12:11 AM »
In GW2 the new airport Stockholm Skavsta was announced, it will open next year. Immediately after that the demand on my VIE-BMA route dropped by more than half and I got an oversupply warning even though the new airport won't open until next year.

An explanation would be nice.

The opening announcement is irrelevant to the demand figures. But there's an issue indeed:

- On 1982-12-25 demand LOWW-ESSB was (in a test scenario) 24pax and 170kg cargo (400kg potential)
- On 1983-05-01 demand LOWW-ESSB was 8pax and 170kg cargo (400kg potential)
(- Skavsta opens on 1984-01-01, but it's not relevant here)

The old pax demand system has a few issues where another airport opening affects the demand somewhere else. (as you see, new model/cargo works fine)

But this remains an open / known issue since the old model won't be updated anymore. => Closed.
