[-] Route Marketing costs excessive?

Has there been any change recently in calculation of these route marketing costs? They seem even more excessive than in the past.

They always grew with the size of the company, but I just tried to add a route campaign to a fairly new, small airline, with only 61 cities served.  The cost of the campaign is 1.5m per week.  Which is about 1/2 of the cost of General Marketing campaign for the entire company good for approx. CI=80.

Hmm....  Ok.

It might be a good idea to glance at the costs, to make Route Marketing a more viable option for airlines in the middle of the spectrum.

Right now, it is good only for the first handful of routes of a new airline, and then late in the game, for a few airlines nearly unlimited profits.  For everyone else in the middle, Route Marketing is just not a viable tool.

i think it just isn’t very useful. in the first place when starting maybe, but soon it is ridiculously expensive!
