Neo Fairy Air and JA Kyushu penalized for aircraft trading
« on: August 13, 2019, 10:45:29 AM »
The airlines Neo Fairy Air and JA Kyushu have been issued a penalty of -25 company image points and -$7mil in cash both for aircraft trading against the game rules.

Rules state that "users are forbidden to effectively transfer money between two airlines (for example in alliance) by for example repeatedly selling and buying aircraft between each others. Normal one-time sales of aircraft is naturally allowed but transferring aircraft with the only intention of at the same time generating profits/money to one airline is considered unacceptable."

The first airline has bought two very cheap CV-340 aircraft from the used a/c market and the immediately upon delivery sold them at the maximum possible price to the other airline. The receiving airline has not utilized/scheduled the aircraft at all so far. There are lots of CV-340s available so there is no rationale behind this scheme other than transfer of money.

Please stick to the rules.
