[-] dashboard route sales != income
« on: June 23, 2019, 04:56:35 PM »
AAA Airline in GW1. Maybe this isn't a bug and I'm just misunderstanding things.

Dashboard shows route sales down 2.6% to 7.0M. Bit disastrous so I go to look at income. For the previous complete week, week 41, it says total operating revenues of 9.8M, up a healthy 2%! I've not done any base changes or any jiggerypokery, just a normal week in sunny Atlanta.

Any explanation? bug?

No bug...

30-Nov-56, dashboard says $ 1 842 788 and income statement wk47 "Profit / loss before taxes" says the same.

hi Sami, your reply quoted profit/loss figures and indeed they match on the dashboard and on the income sheet.

My query though was about revenue, right now it says 5.2M on the dashboard and 9.2 on income! For revenue...

That is the same figure as in Routes area front page. Route revenue deducted with direct expenses.

(Those figures match too)

gotchas. so "route sales result" on the dashboard isn't really sales in it's simplest, in accounting terms it is what would be called "operating profit" although since it ignores fuel etc that's not really true. It's some kind of "middle" number...
