Feels like a pretty broad too much supply/too little demand issue across a lot of markets right now

Maxed loan, eh?

Sad part is, fuel is really cheap. Jets are not the win anymore like they used to be. Its quite a shock. The next GW will see more Britannia/Fokker fleet combos for years to come...unless... Sami ~~  ;D

it's true I'm being spanked out of LHR..  :P

I definitely took account of the new winds aloft and bought intelligently. The Britannias struggle as much with wind aloft as the jets. My mistake was leasing the DC8s, too expensive, and they are now 2/3rds the price on the used market.. argh

Still brothers.. all out!

Don't know yet how long I'll keep my connies & Viscounts. Viscounts probably very long. I'll decide when I'll see 737-200a arrive, if I can cover all my current connie routes. KBL and its 2492 NM seems a little bit stretchy for a 732a...

Playing in a small country... what else is there to talk about? ^_^

- Yeah, I'm at lost as to what to go with as well. Still trying to convince myself to fly 747s, but there's just no f-ing cargo in Malaysia. It wont be till Kuala Lumpur opens that Malaysia becomes internationally relevant. Such a long ways off...

Where are my Allison Convairs?

How can I last 20 years with some radials until some real new TPs flood the market?

Ah, makes sense. F27, NAMC and Viscounts survive long enough. Not really an issue in this class.

the only limit is noise regulations, in fact. Without them, Viscounts would be still profitable(at least in low-wage countries) in 2030.

If I may...
I used them in USSR/Russia (certainly not amongst the high-wage countries) until around 1994 and while young frames were still profitable, the cost of the 2nd D-check was more than the price of the plane, thus requiring a high turnover and dumping planes early, which means their overall profitability lowers quite a bit.
Sure, I was using only 700D (not the 840), and with Std seating. But still... When I switched to the F70/F100, the difference was huge.

According to the available aircraft page, they're not included in the game:
https://www.airwaysim.com/Information/Aircraft

so, polish those radials as much as you can ...  :)

Piston4ever  ;D

( = I believe I have data of turboprop CV but no plans to add that for now.. So many other features on to-do, and have data/manuals for about 50-100 other planes now too, since I spent a few weeks in the local archives doing some digging... Have to prioritize those with biggest changes / most importance a bit.)

150kt cruise at 7-10K ft with new wind components. Even if it only uses 200kg/hr its still a loser.
