Long haul planes

I have recently started playing, and preparing for the future, I was curious on what would be the best types for branching out routes to every part of the globe? a good one for 2500-5000nm and one for 5000+nm, I have no idea what would suit my airline the most

Canít go wrong with used 767ís when you canít fill 777ís.

Im not too experienced, but from what I have played here is what I can tell:

777- Very good if your airport is slot restricted, but has a lot of demand, like London Heathrow
767- Very food for everything else
a330-If you need something a little bigger than 767.

I would say in most cases 767 is best, because in most cities the demand is pretty thin, but a330/a340 can be really useful when demand is over 6000nm

Even with new ESAD ranging the 767 ER versions (except maybe 764) will remain kings amongst the long haul game due to good fuel economy, moderate staffing requirements, and range despite lower capacity.

The real problem is not ESAD range, its fuel-weight. Flying heavy at VLH range probably will make most thin routes (762ER) uneconomical. Though flying normal LH shouldn't see much of a difference.

Its hard to say for now, were all pretty much guessing at this point. But the Super 60s and WBs are due. We'll find out soon enough how it changes the landscape.
