Cargo shifting bug?
« on: May 11, 2019, 09:19:06 AM »
Hi Sami,

there is not a single flight bar SIN-LAX between SIN and the L-A area (I checked all overlapping airports in the L-A area and even a little beyond).

Still, despite oversupply, SIN-LAX doesn't attract all the demand.
HC on SIN-LAX: 9,9k on 14,2k
HC on LAX-SIN: 18,8k on 27,6k

Thank you

Also, how to explain that on SIN-FRA:
current HC = 1/2 of potential HC
and on FRA-SIN:
current HC = 1/7 of potential HC

Could this be related to the issue I noted in previous GW#2 between Vladivostok and N-Y area / Philadelphia?

I mean, overlapping exists in this case, unlike in the VVO-to-the-rest-of-the-world case, but the similarity lies in the disparity of proportions between both legs: one is ok, and the other is not (acknowledged bug).

Thanks.

I raised a bug that CBD simply doesn't work when one or both ends of a route is a complex metro area, for example New York City with 3 major airports. CBD works between simple city pairs, eg Kansas City-Memphis. I suspect you're seeing this same bug, caused by the LAX end since SIN is simple. The sympton is the available cargo is <50% of the potential despite all the conditions being met for potential being achievable.
