[ok] Income statement missing values
« on: May 06, 2019, 08:38:32 AM »
GW#4 - Buddy Holly Airline

My income statement shows a loss of 12m on sold a/c for Q3 2006, but no loss on sold (scrapped) a/c in either Q1 or Q2, while I actually scrapped ~130 MD11.
That should be a multi-billion paper loss, giving a lack of taxes for many, many months.
The sheet still shows that I paid more taxes than what I should have, but nothing comparable to the loss scrapping 130 MD11 would have given me: iirc, ~60-70m / frame, so roughly a 8.5bn loss.

Screenshot: quarterly view from Q4 2005 to Q3 2006

Maybe is it related to the bug report I posted yesterday, but if I start paying taxes again in the next weeks, it won't be a display issue only, but actually a bug in the system robbing my airline.

Update: I started paying taxes again, while I shouldn't.
Well, considering there's no official loss, I should. But considering the missing figure of the real loss, I shouldn't.

Yes probably because I had to adjust the earlier error you reported manually. I've re-adjusted it now

How did you perform the scrapping?

As that is the probable cause why the incomesheet got erroneous for you. Have you scrapped anything recently or are you able to "test-scrap" some a/c for me?

I had 133 MD11 of various sub-models. Around 125 (above 10 y old) were scrapped right away, all in a go, after I transferred all schedules to 777. Tabs for individual planes were opened from the "My Aircraft" page.
The remaining younger ones went in storage.

Recently, I scrapped 1x757-200PF and 2xMD-11 (1 "base" and one ER, iirc). Seemed normal, though I didn't really pay attention on how it went.

As per upcoming scraps, I got 1xMD11 aged 9.3 y. However I can scrap a 757PF right away if you want. Should I make a screenshot "pre-scrapping" and one of the income statement page after the scrapping?

Sure. Make sure screencaps are taken during the same game day

Okay so works as expected. Cannot find any reason that caused this, so can't investigate further....

I'll notify you if I ever see it again. However I fear one will notice it only when large numbers are involved: usually, when scrapping 1-10 planes, I don't even look at the result.
