[-] Cruising Spped og Dornier 328Jet not correct
« on: November 04, 2018, 08:20:42 AM »
i think the cruising speed of the Dorneir 328 Jet is not correkt.

it think it must be  398 kts (740 km/h)  not  Mach 0.54 / 317 kts TAS.

Also Dornier 328 100  is  334kts (620km/h)  not 317 kts.

is a very fast regional aircraft.

It is intentionally wrong, so it can be in the same fleet group than the 328-100 prop.
Sadly, this is the only way to cope with the issue of same family but (very) different speed :-\
The obvious result being that nobody orders it, as nobody wants something that burns as a jet but that's slow as a prop :'(

similar problem with the saab340/2000, dash8/Q400... the newer version is actually the same fleet group, but just for speed reasons in a different fleet type. there should be an end to that somehow  ::)
