Something like this would be helpful.  At least on longer routes that can fit the info.  Short routes will have to rely on pop up.

Can't work for short routes, but I can see the interest for longer routes. The hard part is probably to ave something working even on small smartphone screens.

Can't work for short routes

Well, for short routes the system can use small, bitmap fonts oriented vertically like this:

M
U
C

O
R
Y

etc...

Maybe. Not sure how doable it is. I remind flying metros 6 routes a day, and that was rather narrow.

Still, I would love to have this, but I have doubts about wether it's doable.

Labels were part of the scheduling page years and years and years ago. But there is not really space for them, apart from the longer routes. (We had flt number and destination)

But they are very quick to add so could make it as an experimental feature

?

- flights crossing over two days are bit tricky so usually labels need to be repeated
- vertical labels not possible, no space

Looks excellent.  It should also obey the Settings page setting regarding 3 or 4 letter airport codes.

Feature is added, as beta (pls report if they are shown logically). Can be activated from "Show airport labels at Scheduling page" at Settings - Interface settings. (off by default, will be turned on by default later on)

Should show only 1 label per each flight (and tries to model logically under which day column the label is shown, depending where it has the most space). Flights less than ~2hrs do not have the label.

Mobile usability not tested at all yet.

Looks fantastic.  1 label per flight that goes over midnight is also good, makes it cleaner.

Speaking of which, I think the schedule would look even cleaner if the schedule bar covered the grid lines for 7 days.

The labels actually help here, but before the labeles, sometime it was hard to tell if the flight on the schedule was a single flight going over the midnight or 2 separate flights.  Especially for aircraft that has shorter turnaround time.

I like it! Is there a chance to add a (F) or F or something to indicate it's a freight only flight.

I have mixed fleets, 727s, Britannias, where in the mix there are freighters and pax only aircraft and it can be quite hard, without floating over the regid, to spot the freighters from the pax.

One thing you can do is to select in the fleet field the cargo variant of the fleet.

I'd like to see this feature set on as default for all game worlds, even those mentored ones.

As for the impossibility of vertical labeling because of space... how about increase the height of the flight blocks while lowering the B-check block, or make the B-check block overlay flight blocks while making it semi-transparent?

Implemented a whole new way how to display the flight and maintenance blocks at the schedule page. Visually it's nearly 100% the same as before but the whole code and styling is changed (more modern setup). This allows us to draw the flights in one block each (as opposed to splitting them into several blocks when they cross over different days).

Benefits are more accurate presentation of the bars in respect to others (times accurate and comparable to the pixel), greater flexibility in styling and fixed a few small issues too.

(opted a way to draw the weekday division lines over the flight bars still, otherwise looks too messy. But the labels are over the lines if they overlap, but with higher priority)
