[ok] Taxes while I had losses before
« on: September 11, 2018, 07:46:43 AM »
GW#2

in 2010 I had losses for more than 2 Bn, and in 2011 I paid 232 M of taxes while my revenue was only around 1 Bn.
In the continuity of this, in january this year (2012), I paid taxes, while I should still have had 1 Bn of tax deductible losses by that time.
(didn't check about a refund at the end of 2011, but even though I would still be 750 M short of tax deductions).

Or am I again that bad with numbers?

Thanks.

Hi Sami,

there's definitely something wrong, as for example last year (2012) all taxes wrongly paid were refunded and as a result disappeared from the income sheet.
As a consequence, it should have been the same for 2011, which is not.

It's more complicated what it looks, and probable cause is the 2008 year when you had large losses and 2009 when you had large wins, and those were correct but then resulting years were a bit screwed because of this. But it should stabilize and correct itself when 2008/2009 data becomes invisible by the system.

My financial performance for 2008-2009 has repercussions in 2011? Wow :o
So I managed to screw the system and the system screwed me in return?
In the end, I don't know if
   a) I haven't been refunded 1/4 Bn
   b) 3/4 Bn were not considered tax deductible
   c) "nothing" at all, it's only the figures that are wrong

Well, ok :)
Thanks
