[ok] Actual Demand does not go up
« on: August 28, 2018, 09:21:13 AM »
Hello,

GW2, YYC-PTY; I am flying the route since ages, and oversupplying the actual demand, but it didnt rise yet. I do not assume that any airports are in contact with calgary or panama to compete with the potential cargo demand.

It seems that the potential demand has been calculated incorrectly in this case, actual is correct and the demand has been moving correctly.

The system calculated actual potential demand has been roughly 120kg/daily, all total, but there was an error in calculation where low amounts of standard/heavy cargo is converted internally as light cargo (as standard cargo cannot weigh 20kg per unit etc). The error meant that it was multiplied several times there causing it to show about 1200 instead of 120...

So in this cas the actual is pretty much same as the (correct) potential amount. This error concerns only routes with small amounts of standard or heavy cargo, larger routes are not affected.

Fix is already done but not implemented yet, will make a few more adjustments to make the smallest routes more viable.
