[-] B767 Take Off Field Length
« on: July 09, 2018, 10:54:17 PM »
Not sure if this has been corrected for future Game Worlds:

Runway requirements for B767-200ER at MTOW is set at 2130m !
Correct length is ~3500m at sea level

The B767-300ER is also too short. I haven't checked all models. The info is all in the link below (Boeing Document):

No, it is correct. Check the chart from the basic MTOW weight, which is 151tn. (the takeoff length shown is for the basic variant)

An example:
GW1 Aberdeen-Singapore  5852nm, Runway length 1953m Flying non-stop B767-200ER with 220pax and 7 Tons Cargo payload.
I'd say that is the heaviest version at maximum payload.

I have made a test with one of my own 767-200ER (+20.4Tons) that came back from lease.

I was able to open a route between Hong Kong and Belfast City airport with no restrictions.
Transporting 214pax & 9560KG of cargo. Belfast City runway length is 1829m !!
In reality, I would have needed almost twice the runway length!

This is definitely a bug!

Thanks
Mike

The system has one runway length data value for each model. And that is the baseline variant with the basic MTOW. Since the runway requirement "curve" for any higher weight variants is very different from model to model, it's not really possible to be accurate for all sub-variants unless the dataset is widely expanded (more rwy length data points for each model) and that would be a very time consuming task.

Thanks for the explanation. I wasn't aware of the mechanics and I do appreciate it's a lot of data we're dealing with per aircraft model.

Cheers!

AWS allows you to operate a 747SP in CGH!!!  :o

I couldn't imagine a 747 flying over my house, as I live just below the airplane's path to that airport (10 km from it)!
