Alaskan Aviation
« on: February 28, 2018, 05:01:33 AM »
I was hopping the traffic demand in Alaska could be buffed up. Alaska is very unique when it comes to aviation, due to its size and terrain. There are no roads to connect the towns and cities to each other. So other then Anchorage and Fairbanks Almost all of the traveling is done by air. Also same with cargo, its either flown or barged in, and again since there are no roads, thats a lot of cargo.

For Example Anchorage to Dillingham (2007 in game time) shows a demand of 21, just barely enough for a beechcraft or metro. In real life its has around 4-5 Saab 340/2000, and 1 737 flights a day. And this is just passenger.

I know this is a small area for the game, but it is something i think would be a nice change.
