[-] GW1 - Warning when opening base in OMAA
« on: January 16, 2018, 07:06:17 PM »
When trying to open a base in OMAA from OMDB, the game tells me "Are you sure you wish to select this airport as your base? You may not keep this base open for the entire duration of this game world due to geopolitical changes in the future."

I am not aware of any changes to OMAA in real life.

Is this a bug?

You don't know about Skynet taking out Abu Dhabi airport on Judgment Day?

I opened OMAA after Dubai gained independence from the UK - no warnings.

The warning appears because under early era the country is governed by UK and the system at that point shows that preliminary warning to all players who plan to open there (since if you'd be from UK you'd have to vacate the base 2 years after independence).

The warning is shown to all airports/countries (with a few exceptions) that have this "new independence" event in force at some point in the future and it is not so smart that it could take into account your current status/home base.
