Hey Guys,

Not sure if this question has been asked before?

Will there be a feature introduced so we can fly onward from a destination?

EG

SYD - ADL - PER - ADL - SYD ?
SYD - SIN - LHR - SIN - LHR ?
SYD - LAX - JFK - LAX - SYD ?

I know with real life airlines they don't just fly point to point.
Like when I was a regional FA we would fly CBR - SYD -HBA - SYD - CBR..

It would be great if we could do this in game.

Or even if the fuel stop feature allowed us to offload and pick up passengers enroute to the final destination.

Just some thoughts :)

As far as I know this feature once existed but has been deleted as it led to too many monopolies from a few big airlines. In other words: For game mechanic reasons it's left out.

Ah thanks for the reply! Would be good if it could come back in some sort of capacity, but be restrictive in some way.

You can open bases (with some territorial limitations)

There's a manual page about some of the complications of making this work like the real world that you can read here - https://www.airwaysim.com/game/Manual/Routes/Freedoms/

There are some other games I am aware of that have implemented Yamoussoukro Decision which is a fifth freedom open sky treaty which does not allow cabotage...
