Unable to secure assets for loan

Playing on my iPad.

Trying to take out a secured loan, I go to select assets which works ok, but when I select confirm button it switches me back to select assets screen without keeping the assets I selected.

Thus I am unable to take out a secured loan.

Is this a bug? Because it has hampered me not being able to take out a short term secured loan.

On my pc at home this function works, my alliance companions mac book works ok. But is it only on an iPad that this function does not work?

I am on holiday which is why I do not have access to my pc.

Is anyone else on an iPad having this issue? If not what am I doing wrong?
