Today marks the start of a new era as the last DC-6 in EU Jet's fleet was retired and transferred to the airline museum.
The DC-6, nicknamed Queen Victoria landed on it's last flight from Aberdeen to London Luton at 09:39 today with 98 passengers on-board.
The passengers on-board the last flight got a complimentary dinner and a full refund for the flight as a thank you for a year with service.

EU Jet started their transformation to jet's back in early 71, when they got a good deal on the brand new BAC One-Eleven 500.
As a thank you for flying with EU Jet, the company CEO also stated that EU Jet would have a 35% off on all flights until new year's.
