A few month´s ago the claimed to be biggest korean carrier have putt not so honest information in the world.
After an investigation we found out it is practically impossable to have 230 seats in an 767-300 with lie flats beds in first and business together with extra leggroom in economy class.
or was there economy class really so crappy that now they have just standard economy configuration which they announced as extra legroom?
It can be be an explanation for our dubbel digit year after year growth while they are stuck for years now in pax growth,we are not talking about available seats.
Then we have still have the biggest fleet in Korea and with 2 more 767´s on order and with 14 md-90´s planned to come in within a year we are surely growing faster then they are and with 175 seats against 120 in the present medium haul fleet our capacity will be leveled to theres again within 1 or 2 years,if we choose to continue with this type.
Yes it is time to replace our 10-22 years old 737 fleet for this young fresh model.
can they show us where they found information of 24 years old planes in our fleet at the time of the press release?
Then they have written about there negotiation with ATR and Bombadier for the CRJ,but 9 months later still no result.
Means either they are incapable of placing an order or this is the only way for them to stay in korea´s top by misleading the other 2 carriers.
Usually only airliners who are starting to loose are placing press releases like this and that they have lost about 12% of there income support this number.
while we and and they have growing numbers.
So our conclusion is that this carrier cannot win at a fair level and try to mislead the competiton,which is not in Korea´s culture and there have been many publications about the shame of Korea.
Knowing that fame will fade with time and new stars will rise.
This message is just published because we are what they say the #2 carrier of Korea and we like to publish the truth andnot lower our selfs to this level.
Also i like to make use of this 1 time opertunitty to thank my fellow A-team partners in there support when the future of this 6th oldest carrier in the world was at the edge of excistence.
