Airlines launch price war on Eastern Canada flights
« on: April 22, 2016, 01:36:37 PM »
Canada's airlines are fighting for customers through matching seat sales offering 50 per cent off to selected cities in Eastern Canada and the northern United States.
North Air made its pitch for customers today by becoming the latest airline to offer the big discount to destinations like Halifax, Montreal and Ottawa.

It follows KandahAir and  GOB who started offering the discounts earlier this week.
KandahAir is offering half off to anywhere it flies, while GOB's discount applies only to similar destinations as KA.

The airlines were already fiercely competing for business travellers in the so-called "eastern triangle" of Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
The triangle is worth about $600 million in revenues annually.

Most of this will be ours after eliminating the economicly unfit said CO RuneF from KA in a coment.
