[-] Oversupply after new airport?
« on: April 21, 2016, 12:23:00 PM »
I'm running a route in GW3 Toronto-Milan.

Woke up this morning to find an oversupply warning for the route I've operated twice daily on for the last couple of years. Found out that this is because the airport has changed to the brand new one at Malpensa.

The old airport now has 0 demand on the route, but why exactly has demand fallen by 50% at Malpensa. This doesn't make a lick of sense...

During airport transfers the demand may change, sometimes quite much even.

The city based demand system will work differently and will probably not have such issues.
