Game World #3 - The Modern Times now open!

The new Game World #3 is now open at the Game Area!

This new Modern Times game scenario takes the virtual airline managers from year 1995 all the way to the future and year 2030. The length of each simulated day is 35 minutes, making the total length of the game of about 10.5 months.

Please remember that during the first 24 hours the game clock is paused and no routes are flown until tomorrow. This way nobody gets a big head start when more players can make their initial routes and schedules.

The general difficulty level of this game is set to normal levels, with plenty of airport slots and passengers willing to travel around the world. Both of these will increase over time - the initial airport capacity and passenger travel levels are much lower at the game start and will increase gradually over the first game years.

The fuel prices are customized throughout the game (not based on real world history) and, as usual, there are occasional periods of elevated fuel prices included too - as well as other random world events.

Alliances can be formed already at the first game day, and prototype aircraft models are included (= whole of AirwaySim's aircraft database). All other AirwaySim's latest features are naturally included, like in all other game worlds.
