C & D check timeline

Hi,

After playing this sim for a few weeks, and buying a lot of aircraft, I'm loosing control of all the C & D checks.
What I'm trying to do is have a spare aircraft to take over for the next aircraft going into the shop for checks.
But planning this is not very simple. You have to do checks on some aircraft before their scheduled time to get this into a good "pattern".
On this page(https://www.airwaysim.com/game/Aircraft/My?sort=Reg&view=maintenance&sort2=up&page=1) all dates for check are to be found.
But to make use of this infomation I have to use a sheet of paper and start drawing a diagram.
Wouldn't it be a lot easier to see a timeline(something like this: http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/)  of all checks? This way it will be a lot easier to start bringing in aircraft for maintenace before they are supposed to be checked.

Thanks for a fun sim :-)

Im like you, I gave up having planes back up.... I am just sending planes into their checks.

I make diagrams in Excel.
But I also try to resolve the problem in it's origin, I mean when planning the fleet.
First of all, if I buy brand new a/c, I am trying to have delivery no more frequent than every 3 weeks, and buy one spare aircraft to serve the routes of others when they are in C checks. As I lease for 7 years not buy, I don't care D checks at all.
When I am buying used stuff, I open my aircraft page sorting the machines by C check. and buy machines that meet my technical requirements, but also have a C check date that fits between others.
Also, leasing aircraft causes the need for another diagram - fleet replacement, so I know which aircraft will be replaced by new one and when.

I decided to make my own D check timeline.
I made it using code from the Timeline project(http://code.google.com/p/simile-widgets/).
This code will run in most browsers which have Javascript builtin.

2 code are in two files. One html file and one xml file.
The xml file has to be edited by hand and it will take a while if you have many aircraft.
Anyone know a good place where the 2 files can be uploaded to so anyone can download?
